In early 2010, Tuscany born and raised chef, Michele Gargani had a vision of opening a pizzeria where fine-dining pizza with fresh and high quality ingredients can be served right away. After experimenting for over 2 years to create the perfect dough and finding the right oven, he opened Clusi Batusi in 2012 with his mother Catherine and girlfriend Anna on Sawtelle Boulevard, Los Angeles. Since the opening, many customers have been surprised to find an authentic pizzeria on Sawtelle that is known for its Asian eateries. Chef Gargani believes that his passion to create and serve delicious food will add to the repertoire of the rising food lovers' destination.
Clusi Batusi is all about serving delicious food, drinks and providing great service with warmth and friendliness.
At Clusi Batusi we use fresh and high quality ingredients. When available, the chef travels to the fish and farmer's market for ingredients to provide the freshest local flavors. Each pizza dough is carefully made by hand every morning. Every topping and salad is made and cut freshly in-house every day to serve the best flavors.

On the Clusi Dinner Nights every WED-SAT are Appetizers, Pastas, Entrées and Desserts... or anything the chef decides to create based on the ingredients he comes upon in the market.
